Hola, ¿como estas?
We must have had Doc Emmett Brown on the flight with us cos we managed to do a bit of time travelling. The flight from Auckland left at 5pm and lasted for 13 hours and we landed in Santiago at 12pm on the same day that we left, unbelievable jet lag. You can tell the people that came here from NZ cos they are all walking round half dead. I did a fair bit of sleeping for the first day here and Neil the sloth slept for about 40 hours out of 48, lazy shit! He did manage to get up and go for a pint at about 1 in the morning in the middle though so it wasn´t too bad.
The first night that we went out we went to the main strip and this barmaid said she would show us the good bars cos it was her friends birthday, so we thought that would be a laugh. We had 2 pints and then she got the next beers in the next bar. It was a bit strange cos their cocktails came out about 5 minutes before our beers. Then about 10 minutes after drinking them I felt like I was coming up on something and then all of a sudden we were both absolutely wasted. The fat bitch must have spiked us. Every time I asked where her birthday friends were she said they´d be here soon so I thought it was time to run away. Luckily we escaped with our innocence and our wallets intact, but that was a dicey introduction to Santiago. Fatties and old ladies out on the date rape/rob.
We spent a few days walking round Santiago but in all honesty there´s not a great deal to do or see so we thought we´d bus it up to Arica through the desert to the beaches. 30 hours later we arrived. The bus journey was great for me cos I had my PSP and my MP3 and my sudoku book, but Neil didn´t have anything so it was proper funny watching him go insane, the highlight of the trip infact.
