This was the first difficult hike Sara and I did. It was a challenging hike that was similar to going up stairs for 3 miles and down stairs for 3 miles! What fun!! It was a really pretty area and the pine trees smelled so wonderful it was unbelievable. The hike climbed 1,480 in 3 miles which we completed in 1.5 hours- yea for us.
