When you arrive in Zagreb Airport dont take the taxis!
They rip-off visitors frequently are over-priced and view visitors to Croatia as vultures view stragglers on the Serengeti Plains!
TIP!: Take the Croatia Airlines Bus to town
Croatia Airlines operates a bus service from the Airport to the Main Bus Terminal at a cost of 35Kuna per person (1 way) It is very cheap, reliable (every half-hour) and from there you can either take a tram, bus or walk to your destination.
Taxi drivers charge anywhere between 200 Kuna to 500 Kuna (seen this personally!) for a fare to "the city". The normal average price to Zagreb Centre should be around 160-190 Kuna, so BEWARE!
